Pro Video UK Wedding Streaming

Who are we? Why us ?

I am Darren, we are Pro Video UK; we have produced wedding videos for brides over 20 years. We know about weddings and wedding videography inside out. We have some wonderful stories and moments.

We now only offer wedding streaming using our wedding videography experience to catapult us above others.

We also come from a ‘live event’ Audio Visual background (still do) https://www.kavproductions.net/ so we are also AV technicians, Video producers, as well as wedding videographers, so you are in the best hands.

Is it expensive?

For weddings we try and do this as low price point as possible without compromising the results, we use single camera,or multiple cameras including signal bonding kit and outdoor masts if need be.  So, for weddings no its not expensive compared to when we stream for corporates. We are here to help you.

Will it stream OK?

We take streaming seriously. When streaming a live event technical things try to go wrong as much as they can and its mostly because of the internet or inexperience of the company streaming.

We might add the hotels internet into the mix but we use our own mobile networks bonded so yes we get a great internet connection without relying on the venues internet

What if there is no 4G internet inside the building or in the room?

As well as our routers we also use our outdoor mobile 4G kit (weather sealed ) and put them outside we can use 2 or 3. We have sometimes got crazy speeds of  90Mb up and 150Mb down

I don’t want everybody watching please as this day is personal to me, what do you do to prevent this?

This is a popular question, the problem with iPhone and iPad etc and streaming to Facebook, YouTube  etc is you are not in control  in who watches or who has an opinion.

We live stream to our own HD Vimeo platform and send you a private link and your own password. However, if you want us to stream to YouTube, or Facebook etc on your account we can connect this, but we have no control on the audience.

The venue have their own webcam and can stream like a Vegas wedding will yours look better?

The venue might have something like this in place and it’s usually just a basic wide-angle static shot with no real movement or emotion. We are 20 year trained wedding videographers at heart we know what to look out for.

Our cameras are placed at the front so we can see your faces and we can zoom and move when needed. The quality of ours in much nicer to watch. It’s your wedding it’s your choice. We can add a second camera angle at the back too and live mix.

We already have a videographer can you plug into his camera or will you be in the way?

I used to be a full-time wedding videographer, we would work with them and make sure they get priority, we can be further away from them. We would phone them up and have a chin wag about working together. Its quite fun.

What about sound? Sound is just as important as video

We use 2 or 3 channels of sound, room sound and a radio lapel mic for the groom.  We have control on the grooms sound so don’t worry!

What kit will be in the room?

Usually just a cameraman with a camera and our small streaming device.

What if we want the speeches streamed as that would be fun?

This is an optional extra but as our kit is mobile, we can pick up the camera and setup in the wedding breakfast room to stream the speeches for you,  this uses the same link and password so at a given time they just need to login refresh the page and get watching from the comfort of their own armchair or sofa on any device they wish to.

My wedding is in a Church can you help?

Yes, we can help with Church weddings. It's usually more money as it’s a lot more work but very doable

What else do you do for us?

As well as streaming it we also record in 1080p Full HD and get this online too as well as sending you the file directly to keep forever.

I want 2 or 3 cameras and a much more high-end look can you help here?

We certainly can.

What if you are double booked or sick that day?

We have 2 systems and 2 or more trusted videographers so we can stream more than 2 at the same time so we can take more bookings and cover each other.  Over the last 20 years we have always made it to the weddings. Always.

Streaming guarantees

It’s impossible for any streaming company to guarantee the streaming signal or far end experience so we don’t offer this, but we do all our best to make it work and also record it so if need be can upload the recording straight after.

We have no control on internet signal, but we do have the best kit to do the job. We have been lucky so far. We are confident.

1. Turns out it's your "ring finger" for a reason. Engagement and wedding rings are worn on the fourth finger of the left hand because it was once thought that a vein in that finger led directly to the heart.

2. Queen Victoria is credited with starting the Western world's white wedding dress trend in 1840 — before then, brides simply wore their best dress.

3. If your bridesmaids are less than thrilled about matching dresses, tell them they're good luck! The tradition of matching maids dates back to Roman times, when people believed evil spirits would attend the wedding in attempt to curse the bride and groom (how rude). Bridesmaids were required to dress exactly like the bride in order to confuse the spirits and bring luck to the marriage.

4. On a similar note, brides traditionally wear veils because ancient Greeks and Romans believed they protected her from evil spirits.

5. The tradition of a bride wearing "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue," comes from an Old English rhyme. Something old represents continuity; something new offers optimism for the future; something borrowed symbolizes borrowed happiness; something blue stands for purity, love, and fidelity.

6. Wedding cake  comes from ancient Rome, where guests broke a loaf of bread over the bride's head for fertility's sake.

7. Ever wondered where the phrase "tying the knot" came from? In many cultures around the world — including Celtic, Hindu and Egyptian weddings — the hands of the bride and groom are literally tied together to demonstrate the couple's commitment to each other and their new bond.

8. If you thought we were over the spirit thing, think again. According to tradition, the groom carries the bride across the threshold to valiantly protect her from evil spirits lurking below.

9. June weddings are not a new thing. The Roman goddess Juno rules over marriage and childbirth, hence the popularity of June weddings.

10. Ancient Norse bridal couples went into hiding after the wedding, and a family member would bring them a cup of honey wine for 30 days — or one moon — which is how the term "honeymoon" originated.
